UGC NET 2018 Answer Key

The answer keys have been released as per the pre-scheduled time. As per the official UGC NET 2018 information brochure, scanned images of candidates’ response sheets (OMR sheets) along with provisional answer keys were to be uploaded on the official websiteduring the fourth week of July 2018.

Candidates can raise a challenge against the provisional answer key by filling an online form and paying a sum of ₹ 1000 per question. The last date to challenge the answer key is 27th July 2018. Payment can be made through online mode only. If the challenge raised by the candidate is accepted, the deposited fee will be refunded to the account from which the payment is made. The official notification states, “The CBSE’s decision on the challenges shall be final, and the result will be declared on the basis of final answer keys.”

Steps to View and Challenge the UGC NET 2018 Answer Key

• Visit the official CBSE NET website - https://cbsenet.nic.in/
• Click on the link “Answer Key and Recorded Response Challenge” button on the home page.
• You will be redirected to the candidate’s login window.
• Log-in using your Id and password.
• You will see options to challenge answer keys or your response. Select as per your requirement. The option to view the images of your response sheets will also be available.
• If you want to raise more than one objection, add all in one go. You won’t be able to edit the challenge once submitted.
• After submitting the challenge, you will be redirected to the fee payment page.
• Pay the prescribed amount through online mode of payment. Please note that the candidate will bear the additional processing fee (if any). If the board accepts your challenge, the fee will be refunded to the same account through which payment has been made.
• Before making payment, check your name, roll number, and fee amount carefully.
